February is dental health month.  Dr. Cannilla visits local preschools to promote dental awareness to children.  This February, Dr. Cannilla and Beth visited the Goddard School in Montville.  Dr. Cannilla and Beth conducted presentations to 85 children ranging from 3 to 5 years of age.  We reviewed brushing with "Bob the Mouth", discussed proper eating habits, and read "Dora Visits the Dentist".  It was most enjoyable for our office to speak with the children.  Each child was given a gift bag with a Shrek toothbrush, Nemo sticker, crayons, coloring pages, and literature for their parents.

Dr. Cannilla gave a presentation on oral health for the Order of the Sons of Italy, Parsippany Chapter.  The speech was mainly focused for the members of the group, specifically, how oral health relates to aging men.  Dr. Cannilla had a wonderful time with his fellow members and enjoyed the numerous questions that were asked at the meeting held on February, 2009.
